When I was a teenager, I became enthralled with photography's powerful ability to help us get to know people. I have been studying creative ways to use photography to illuminate the vitality of human life and nature ever since.

I graduated from New York University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television with a minor in Photography.

After graduation, I moved to San Francisco because I loved having easy access to everything: interesting city people, as well as incredible beaches and forests. I spent five years there creating portraits of street life and musicians.

I moved to Santa Fe in 1995, once again drawn by the natural beauty of the outdoors and the people. I work here as a freelance photographer and photojournalist.

I specialize in unique documentary accounts of wedding celebrations. I also do promotional stills for independent films and headshots.
